My Feel Free Experience #AD

I’m a big fan of spontaneity, most of my crazy ideas are induced when I’m listening to uplifting songs from one of my Spotify playlists (check out one I just made here!) or I’m day dreaming of how I will spend my time with someone or doing something whilst listening to a particular song. I think its really important to break out of your comfort zone once in a while and inject excitement into your life. Light* & Free inspired me to try something different last week. Being spontaneous and caring for more of what you need and want is so important in this hectic world. I was on my way to see my pal Josie when I thought of mixing up our day by doing something completely different.

We first went to a trampoline park. Yes, a trampoline park. We were early so pretty much had the place to ourselves! It felt amazing. Bouncing around feeling free to the music, it got our hearts racing and we couldn’t stop giggling.

It is something that I’ve always wanted to do, so rather than the usual pop into town for coffee, why not make the most of our free time and do something out of the ordinary.

It was playful, giddy and so much fun. We were daring each other to try tricks, we slam dunked the basket balls and launched ourselves into huge foam pits. The lights turned down and then the party lights came on and music became louder (just making us bounce even more!). Our own party in the middle of the day, it was so much fun.

After exhausting ourselves out, what better way to end the afternoon by going to the spa for a mini treatment. We went to one pretty local to both of us and both had a deep tissue massage.

Forever grateful for releasing those knots in my shoulders, we came out of our treatment room completely relaxed. We went from one extreme to the other, feeling free and full of fun then feeling calmed and relaxed. I dropped off my girl Josie and headed home for a late lunch topped off with my favourite blueberry Light & Free.

Doing things differently is so refreshing. On the drive home we kept laughing about our day and how out of the ordinary it was.

I actually just recently went to a “jump house” near my place as well! It was fun but definitely exhausting :)
Too bad I’m too late to enter the ticket raffle…

    xx, rebecca
